Thank you to these
2021 Gladfest Sponsors
from the Gladstone Area Chamber of Commerce
Chairman of the Board
With a major construction project happening in and around the Gladstone City Hall on the new police station, we find ourselves faced with challenges planning Gladfest.
The Board of Directors and Gladfest committee
have spent hours exhaustively discussing options
to continue the traditions that have become
dear to our community.
I'm excited to share what we we'll be doing:
Woven into the thread of every conversation in
the past months have been the following foundational values we are unwilling to sacrifice moving forward:
a close-knit community
a time to celebrate together
a platform for both our non-profit partners and business members to be seen and promoted
a place for our schools and citizens of all ages to be featured and celebrated
Of utmost importance is the fact that the
parade route and public safety resources will be severely limited by construction and the temporary relocation of the police department.
For this reason that we made the decision to host a community-wide Pep Rally, instead of the parade.
The Pep Rally will be held in Linden Square on
Saturday morning, October 1, at 10am.
Featured in the Pep Rally will be bands from each of our district high schools, helping to lead us in a patriotic tribute in partnership with local veterans and military organizations, followed by a short but spirited battle of the bands where you’ll want to cheer for your Alma Mater or your children’s future high school as they play their fight song!!
Also featured will be our favorite dance studios and karate kids, and many other parade favorites, who will have an opportunity to be showcased during Gladfest.
Can you tell we're excited? I hope you can catch the vision and join in our excitement!
Times are changing, and we must change with them, but as we make those changes, we are unwilling to sacrifice the foundations that make us who
we are as a community.
We hope to stand next to you at Gladfest as we celebrate what is uniquely Gladstone!
Gladfest is planned for our Community to get together and enjoy the sights and sounds of a local Fall Festival.
Stay tuned for what's happening this year!

Linden Square Stage all weekend!
