Summertime Bluesfest: This Chamber and City sponsored event is rockin' toward its 12th year of fun and great music! Bluesfest is held in June at Oak Grove Park, located at 76th & N. Troost. This festival is enjoyed by blues fans not just from our community, but from surrounding cities, counties, and states!
Our festival continues to grow and attract crowds of over 15,000 each year. Bluesfest is a great festival for families to attend. This event is free to everyone! Parking is only $5. We look forward to seeing you our

Gladfest: For twenty-nine
years, this major Northland event has drawn crowds in the tens of thousands, and it brings with it enormous publicity for Gladstone as well as the businesses involved in making it happen.
As always there will be exciting entertaining events, such as the "Gladstone Idol" contest. This event is open to all Northland residents 16 years of age or older, and will be hosted by Ponch with Mix 93.3
There will also be Fireworks, a Dog Show, a Train Show, an Apple Pie Baking contest, live music, excellent food, and much more.

29th Annual Gladfest, October 3th, 4th & 5th.
Friday Fright Night: Is enjoying it’s fifth year at Oak Grove Park. The Halloween fun is sponsored by the Northland Optimists, presented by the Gladstone Parks & Recreation Department, River & Prairie Storyweavers and the Gladstone Area Chamber of Commerce. This safe Halloween event takes place at the Gladstone Amphitheatre in Oak Grove Park.
This event is for all ages with festivities that include “ghost story” telling and of course -trick or treating. There will be scary stories for older children and the young at heart.
